R&R Country have over 20 years’ experience within the equestrian and country industry and are dedicated to providing their customers with quality products and service.
Originally opening with a store in Hemingbrough, North Yorkshire, they have since grown into Yorkshire’s largest equestrian and country superstore and have a second store at Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. They also have a very successful ecommerce web site.
R&R are a BETA qualified stockist of safety equipment along with a fully qualified ‘Society of Master saddlers’ saddle fitter. At both stores, they have a feed barn to cater for all your animals’ tastes.
POS first established a partnership with R&R Country back in June 1997, providing a solution which allowed R&R to sell, track, report and purchase products throughout the system. As our relationship with R&R has continued to grow, so the system itself has evolved into a highly stable and feature rich solution. The current system includes multi channel/multi branch reporting, Head Office functions, EPOS software with integrated credit card processing, customer loyalty scheme and gift card/voucher processing.
R&R have their own ecommerce website, www.randrcountry.co.uk, which the POS system integrates with to allow single entry of stock levels, pricing, promotions, product images, style products, etc.
R&R takes advantage of selling and reporting on veterinary products in our system. A great addition for the equestrian sector, which allows suitably qualified persons (SQP) to authorise the selling of medications. Via the EPOS functionality, a batch number and expiry date can be recorded when a veterinary product is sold. A report can be produced, from the backoffice module, to provide the necessary information needed.
I have worked on the POS system for many years now and our business would be impossible to run without it.
It is our life line for the daily running of the business. The tills are simple for staff to use and hold a wealth of information readily available to assist them.
The purchasing and reporting areas are so important in helping us run the business efficiently and to maximize our profits. We also run our loyalty scheme through POS, collecting valuable Data. A recent addition to our system was to add a program to enable us to print bespoke sale tickets with prices and details on saving us time and making the tickets look very professional.
We have recently linked the POS system to our web site for live stock and data, this has been such a worthwhile task saving us hours updating stock and details on the web site and making it run more effectively.
The system is easy to use for our staff. If problems arise, POS are very quick to help resolve issues, understanding how important this is to us to keep the business running smoothly.
